Full Time / Part Time Options

Full Time Option

Full-time students, most of whom are recent university graduates, complete the program within a twelve-month period beginning in September. They take most of their courses at the same time as those in the part-time stream, thereby encouraging students in each group to benefit from the knowledge and experience of those in the other. Full-time students must take all courses (including optional courses) with the exception of PA 9924 - MPA Reading Course.

Part-Time Option

Experienced managers and local government employees are more likely to choose the part-time option, which takes approximately three years (seven to ten terms) to complete. Courses are delivered in a manner that allows students from outside the London area to attend.

Part-time students are encouraged to plan their academic progression well in advance.  They are able to download a course planning tool and work with the program coordinator during this process.
