LGP Alumni Society

The Local Government Program Alumni Society is a vibrant network of professionals that grow the professional connections that graduates develop during their study at Western University. As a professional peer network, the contacts made through Alumni activities can be invaluable in participants’ professional and personal lives.

The LGP Alumni Association hosts a popular annual fall conference including learning and networking opportunities with leaders in the Local Government field. Announced annually at the conference and supported through peer nominations, the LGP Alumni association also recognizes leadership excellence in the field through the Award of Excellence and Emerging Leaders Award.
