Ken Chu International MPA Scholarships

Scholarship Details

To be awarded annually based on academic achievement, to full-time international students from China who are enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration program. The application for 2015-2016 is open now. The scholarships, valued at $30,000 (max. 2 per year), were established through the generosity of the Chu Family. The amount of this scholarship approximately covers study and living expenses.

Eligibility

As per the terms of the scholarship agreement, eligible students must be from China.
Additionally, all applicants for the scholarship must complete a formal application to the Masters of Public Administration Program at Western University.

After you apply to the program, you are required to submit a 500-1000 word essay on why you want to study Public Administration in Canada, your former related experience and why you are a well-prepared candidate for this program. This essay should demonstrate a high level of English language skill.

Note: Only applicants who have completed an application to the Masters of Public Administration Program at Western University will be considered for this scholarship.

The Deadline for MPA program and this scholarship is January 18, 2014. All application components should arrive by this deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Late applications will be considered only if spaces are available.
